We appreciate you more than you know.

While the City of Irvine paints the main fields, we often need to add markings for our smaller fields or other overlay fields, such as our 10u, and our 7u / 8u fields.. Between weather, grass growing and getting cut, and other people using the fields, there is a small time window where we are able to get these lines painted.

In the past we had someone doing this for us weekly, but they were unable this year. Our last few seasons have been challenging, not just for us as a league but for the parents and the players as well. Lots of uncertainty, lots of change. Lots of supply issues. But one thing that was consistant and reliable - the willingness and efforts of one of our 7u coaches. Not only did he come out and help measure, mark the fields, and paint the lines (once we got paint) to start the field, but he returned week after week, without being reminded, and repainted those lines.

The week goes by so fast, but it is such a great feeling to get the text message on Thursday evenings, "Fields are done!"
